- Price includes batting
- Price will be adjusted for quilts larger than the sizes listed above
- Hand sewn binding is available at $2.50 per running foot. Binding fabric must be provided by the customer
- Prices are good through December 31, 2005
Quilt Preparation
Before I begin working on a piece, please make sure it is properly prepared:
- Trim away all stray threads
- Iron you quilt top
- If edges are fraying, sew or serge around them
- Check all seams to be sure none are loose
- Back stitch all seams that come to edge of quilt
- Piece and square the quilt backing
- Mark top of the quilt and top of the backing
- Remove all selvages on fabric
- Be sure the backing is 8" longer and 8" wider than the top
- Square up quilt top and backing
